Memoirs of a Jew who, as an eight-year-old boy in 1944, was placed by his parents (along with his sister) in a Catholic orphanage in the town of Žilina, Slovakia. The family had converted to Catholicism in order to hide from the Nazi occupiers. His parents were deported to Auschwitz; only his mother survived. Breznitz now lives in Israel.
