A compilation of Midrash, Biblical, and legendary stories about the prophet Moses, who led the Children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt.

1930. In The Life of Solomon, Flex sets a new standard for the form of biography. Rather than analyze his subject into good and evil parts as other biographers are want to do, he builds up the character of Solomon from the man as he is known in history, in the Bible, and in legend and surrounds him with a poetic atmosphere which portrays him as the greatest heroic figure in the Hebrew Scriptures. An extraordinarily beautiful biography of perhaps the most dramatic figure of Old Testament days.
