An alcoholic journalist who's barely seen better days, Paul Kemp has washed up in San Juan, Puerto Rico, writing horoscopes for failing rag El News. But then he meets the impossibly gorgeous Chenault, and Kemp soon finds himself party to shady business deals and experimenting with a hitherto unknown hallucinogen.
