Book by Einzig, Paul

First published in 1943, this work contains five interconnected essays presenting M. Kalecki's renowned additions to the business cycle theory. Written by one of the most distinguished economists of the 20th century, this work will be essential reading for students and scholars of the history of economic thought, monetary theory and macroeconomics.

The development of macroeconomic theory and the implications for economic policy is the main focus of this book. Coming together to honour Fitoussi, the contributors have pulled off an impressive coup in creating a book which will interest advanced students of macroeconomics, economists generally as well as those involved in the formulation of economic policy.
