GroBen, Zahlenwerte und Einheiten Das Ergebnis jeder physikalisehen Messung ist die Angabe einer physika- /ischen Grof3e Gals Produkt aus einem Zahlenwert {G} und einer Ein- heit [G], also G = {G} [G]. Einheiten sind vereinbarte Vertreter der be- treffenden GroBenart, deren es oft mehrere gibt. Eine physikalisehe GroBe ist aber eine von der Einheitenwahl unabhangige (invariante) Gegebenheit. Geht man von einer Einheit [G] zu einer anderen Einheit [G]' iiber, so andert sich zwar der Zahlenwert von {G} in {G}', aber nieht die GroBe. Es ist G = {G} [G] = {G}' [G]'. Eine Lange bleibt die gleiehe GroBe, ganz gleieh, ob man sie als 1 = 1,500 m oder als 1 = 1500 mm besehreibt. Dem- naeh ist {G}'/{G} = [G]/[G]'. Je groBer die Einheit, um so kleiner der Zahlenwert. Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. Dans cet entretien avec Marie-Christine Navarro, Edgar Morin revendique son identité d'inconditionnel touche-à-tout, soucieux de l'avenir de l'Europe et éternel curieux. Il y évoque pêle-mêle certaines des femmes de sa vie – sa mère, notamment –, son enfance, ses engagements, ses enthousiasmes. Surtout, dans ce livre, Edgar Morin revient sur le concept de «reliance» qu'il a inventé, tout en faisant appel aux idées des chercheurs qui l'ont accompagné. Ce concept, central dans son œuvre, a été sans cesse enrichi par les différents champs de recherche qu'il a explorés. «Mes détracteurs, confie Edgar Morin, dédaignent la lecture de mes écrits et m'attribuent les idées les plus simplistes – les seules, sans doute, qu'ils sont capables de concevoir.
