"A high-action story mirrored in color-filled pictures. Peter and his friend Archie find motorcycle goggles, bigger boys try to take these away . . . It's a universal experience of boyhood and the two small black boys play out their strategic triumph against an inner-city background".--School Library Journal, starred review.
